What we're looking for

• You’re a creative thinker who enjoys solving problems through design, while bringing structure, practicality, and a user-first mindset to every project.

• You have experience in areas like interaction design, experience design, graphic design, branding, marketing, or learning & development.

• You’re confident working across the full design process: from early research, journey mapping, and concepting to wireframes, development, testing, and delivery.

• You’ve designed for experiential or interactive products before, and know how to translate a brand’s visual identity into intuitive, impactful interfaces.

• You thrive in multidisciplinary teams and enjoy collaborating closely with developers, game designers, visual designers, and producers.

• You’re a strong communicator who can clearly explain your design choices to your team and to clients.

Who are you?

• You bring 2+ years of relevant experience.

• You work and think at HBO (applied) or university (WO) level.

• Experience in developing bespoke software or learning solutions is a plus.

• You’re interested in behavior change and designing meaningful user experiences.

• You're comfortable with digital design tools and have a technical mindset—you like to build and explore.

• You speak and write both Dutch and English at a good professional level.

What you'll be doing

As a UX/UI designer at &ranj, you work both in conceptualization and execution. You’re just as comfortable in a co-creation session with a client as you are deep in design and development. You bring together the right people, balance ambition with feasibility, and always keep the user in focus.

On a day-to-day basis:

• You analyse the context around the product

• You turn user needs into clear, measurable goals

• You guard both the quality, creative ambition and usability of each project

• You know when to bring in the right expertise or technology

• You help shape a product where all the moving parts come together seamlessly

We work with a flexible toolkit: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, Miro and all MS Products. The outcome matters more than the tools though, so we tend to work with what the product calls for.
